What is Discover Governance?
Most decisions in Australia are made by the small group of people who sit on the boards of community, not-for-profit, business and other organisation. They decide where money goes, what activities get prioritised and whose voices get heard. That's called governance.
Right now, the people most affected by those decisions are missing from the room. Discover Governance exists to change that. We give young women and gender-diverse people, and people with real-world experience, the skills, confidence and connections to take a seat at the table.

Discover Governance Supported
6 week online program | Tuesday 8 Sept - 13 Oct Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged, as each session builds on the last. A limited number of supported places are available for students, those working part-time or for whom cost is a barrier. Please only select this option if it acurately reflects your circumstances.

Scholarship
We offer two scholarships for young people under 30 years of age who are experiencing financial hardship. For this intake, priority will be given to applicants from First Nations and refugee backgrounds.
