The Discover Governance program is an invitation to explore what governance is — how organisations make decisions, who makes them, and why more diverse voices are needed in community, not-for-profit, and social enterprise boardrooms.

Governance is a skill set, and learning to navigate it as a young or diverse person can be both a challenge and an opportunity to make a real difference.

If you identify as female or gender diverse and under 35, come from a culturally diverse or Indigenous background, have lived experience in community or social issues (such as homelessness or criminal justice), or are simply passionate about the issues shaping our world today — your perspective is needed.

This program will give you the knowledge, confidence, and connections to explore whether a board role is right for you and to shape the next step in your leadership journey.
