Just Governance

Just Governance is located on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples of the ACT. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and that the lands always were, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

We acknowledge the sovereign governance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for more than 65,000 years as the oldest continuing living culture in the world. We express gratitude for First Nations care of Country and community. We acknowledge the strength of First Nations ways of being, doing and knowing, and the leadership of matriarchies across the nations.
