What makes Just Governance programs unique is that they are "not just another program", but a fundamentally different approach to building governance capability. They recognise lived experience as a form of expertise, not a diversity add-on and prioritise practical, real-world exposure over theoretical learning.

Why governance is important

Every day, boards make decisions that shape our lives — from housing and health to climate action and justice. Yet too often, the people most affected by these decisions are missing from the table.

We believe this needs to change.

Through accessible workshops and training, Just Governance is creating pathways for diverse young people to join purpose-driven boards.
